What Can and Can’t Go In the Dumpster
The usual things you clear out of a house or a job site go straight in the container. Roof tear-offs, remodeling debris, household clear-outs and yard waste are all fine at no extra cost.
- Weight moves the price, not volume. Each size includes a set weight, from one ton in a ten yard to three in the thirty and forty, and anything over that is four cents a pound.
- Keep clean fill clean. Dirt, brick and concrete go in a twenty yard on their own. Once other waste is mixed in, it stops being clean fill.
- The back doors swing open. On every size, so heavy material walks in instead of being lifted over the wall.
- Nothing above the top rail. The tarp has to close over the load before the truck can leave.

Clean fill is brick, block, rock, gravel and concrete, and it goes to a clean fill site. Tires and appliances with freon are taken too, priced separately.

Dry latex paint out with sawdust and it goes in household garbage. Solvents go to Hamilton County’s drop-off, electronics and batteries to the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub.

A fifty mile radius around Paycor Stadium. That covers Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont counties in Ohio, Boone, Kenton, Campbell and Grant in Kentucky, and Dearborn, Ohio and Franklin counties in Indiana.
Past fifty miles we still deliver, with roughly $100 added. Tell us the address and we will confirm coverage the same day.

How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Dumpster in Cincinnati?
$350 for a 10 yard, $400 for a 15, $500 for a 20, $600 for a 30 and $700 for a 40. The 10 and 15 come with a week on site, and the 20, 30 and 40 come with two weeks.
Every price includes delivery, pickup and a set weight: one ton in the 10, a ton and a half in the 15, two tons in the 20, and three in the 30 and 40. Weight over that is four cents a pound, which works out to $80 a ton.
What Size Dumpster Do I Need?
Tell us the job rather than the size. A garage or basement cleanout is usually a 10. A roof tear-off or a deck removal is usually a 15. A whole-home cleanout is a 20, and that is also the can for dirt and concrete. Contractors working on new build, renovation or demolition debris mostly take the 30.
Dirt, concrete and brick go in a 20 yard on their own at $500 flat, so the load stays legal on weight. That is clean fill, and it goes to a clean fill site rather than a landfill.
Ten yard is the smallest roll-off container there is, industry wide. If you have been quoted something smaller, it is a different kind of container on a different kind of truck.
How Long Can I Rent a Dumpster For?
A week comes with the 10 and 15 yard, and two weeks with the 20, 30 and 40. Keep it longer and it is $20 a day after that, and you only pay for the days you had it.
We run seven days a week at one price, so booking a Saturday costs no more than booking a Tuesday.
What Is Included in a Dumpster Rental?
Delivery and pickup, a week or two on site depending on the size, and the tonnage that comes with your size. Delivery and pickup are both in the price inside our delivery area. Past fifty miles, add roughly $100.
The 10 comes with one ton, the 15 with a ton and a half, the 20 with two tons, and the 30 and 40 with three. Weight over that is $0.04 per pound.
You get one number for the whole job, and many orders come in as a text.
The one charge worth knowing about up front: if the container has to be moved after we set it, there is a $300 dry run fee. Tell us where you want it before we leave and it never comes up.
Do I Need a Permit for a Dumpster?
Not on your own driveway, and you do not need HOA approval either.
On-street placement is different. Covington and downtown Cincinnati both require a permit, and several other municipalities do too. We can pull it for you, though it usually moves faster when you pull it yourself, because the city deals with the address holder.
We check before we deliver either way. Impound fees on an unpermitted container are serious, and this is a common reason a delivery gets held up.
How Much Space Do I Need for Delivery?
Three to four car lengths of clear, level ground, with nothing low overhead. A driveway is the usual spot.
You do not need to be there unless cars have to be moved or the access is tight. We do ask you to put wood down where the container lands, to protect the surface.
Some driveways cannot take a roll-off at all, usually because there is not enough room for the truck. Give us the address when you order and we will tell you before it rolls.
